In November of 1984, the firm's President, Dr. Henry M. (Mac) Bugg, purchased the Virginia Quible and Associates, Inc. operations in Chase City, Virginia and merged the company with his B&B Laboratory, Inc. operations. 

In February 1985, the firm expanded it's engineering operations by moving it's headquarters to South Hill, Virginia. 

The B & B Laboratory, originally established in 1974, presently completes water and wastewater analyses, treatability studies, pilot treatment studies and pollution studies.  The laboratory continues to operate the Chase City office as it has in the past. 

In March of 2000, B & B opened a surveying office in South Boston, Virginia.
