WASTEWATER  TREATMENT WORKS EXPERIENCE

 

Town of Keysville, VA

0.5 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade/Expansion including nitrogin Removal facilities; aerobic sludge disgestors and sludge holding facilities.

 

South Wales Development, Culpeper County, VA

  -0.3 MGD treatment plant designed to satisfy stringent nutrient limitations for discharging into the Rappahannock River (Chesapeake Bay Tributary).  Plant

designed to be expanded to 0.9 MGD.

  -Sewerage works upgrade, construction plans and specifications for new interceptor sewer, aerated surge tank, and new chlorination/dechlorination facilities

 

Town of South Hill, VA

  -New 1.0 MGD wastewater treatment plant with tertiary filtration

  -Expand and upgrade from 1.0 MGD to 2.0 MGD capacity plant with plate and frame sludge dewatering press

  -Conversion from chlorine gas disinfection to UV disinfection facilities

  -Expand and upgrade from 2.0 MGD to 3.0 MGD capacity plant with biological nutrient  removal (Nitrogen and Phosphorus) facilities

  -0.3 MGD wastewater treatment plant and 5000' of outfall sewer (Septage receiving facilities)  Innovative design with no external clarifiers or sludge return pumping.  (First in Virginia). 

  -Designed with future considerations for Biological Phosphorous removal.

  -Preliminary Engineering Report for 0.99 MGD to 3.0 MGD wastewater treatment plant with limits of technology requirements for nutrient removal.

 

Town of Farmville, VA

  -New 2.4 MGD wastewater treatment plant complete with tertiary filtration, chlorine gas disinfection, aerobic sludgedigestion and sludge holding for land application.

  -Upgrade treatment works for stringent nutrient removal (Nitrogen and Phosphorus)

 

Town of Blackstone, VA

Upgrade 2.0 MGD wastewater treatment plant to meet Virginia discharge limits.  Wastewater treatment plant utilizes an attached growth process.

 

Town of Victoria, VA

Upgrade existing wastewater treatment plant in addition to design and construction management of a new 0.4 MGD plant.  The Town of Victoria now utilizes

a two plant system (0.2 MGD wetlands process and a 0.4 activated sludge process).
